New Vice Chair of Adur District Council appointed

Councillor Jude Harvey has been appointed as the new Vice Chair of Adur District Council following a vote by local councillors.
Councillor Harvey, a councillor for Southwick Green Ward, was put forward for the civic role by Councillor Jeremy Gardner, the leader of Adur District Council - an appointment supported by councillors at the latest full council meeting on Thursday 24th October 2024.
She has succeeded her husband Councillor Andrew Harvey in the civic role, who recently stepped down from the position to take on the responsibility of being the council's new cabinet member for environment and leisure.
Councillor Jude Harvey will support Councillor Adrienne Lowe during the remainder of her term as Chair of Adur District Council.
