Adur telephone box closure consultation

As part of a formal consultation process, BT have advised that the telephone boxes on the list below are proposed for removal.

The council has until Wednesday 12th February 2025 to respond and therefore should you have any comments regarding the proposed closures, please send them directly to planning@adur-worthing.gov.uk no later than 2pm on Friday 7th February 2025 with 'Proposed telephone box closures' in the subject title.

Worthing telephone box closure consultation

The council has until Sunday 23rd February 2025 to respond and therefore should you have any comments regarding the proposed closures, please send them directly to planning@adur-worthing.gov.uk no later than 2pm on Thursday 20th February 2025 with 'Proposed telephone box closures' in the subject title.

Communities can 'adopt' phone boxes to turn them into something completely different ...

With payphone usage falling, communities are looking at new ways of using them. Thousands of boxes have been reinvented as cafés, mini-libraries, and defibrillator sites.
