Business Rates: Transitional Relief

The government introduced Transitional Relief to help businesses affected by revaluation.

The amount of Business Rates you pay can go up or down as a result of a revaluation. Transitional Relief limits how much your bill can change in one go, so changes are gradually phased in.

You don't need to apply for Transitional Relief. If you're eligible we will adjust your bill automatically. The arrangements will be detailed on your bill.
