For all payment options please have your Business Rates account number ready.
Pay by Direct Debit
The easiest and most secure way to pay your Business Rates is by Direct Debit. You can choose to pay:
- monthly (on 1st, 8th, 15th or 25th of each month from April to January/March)
- half yearly (on 1st, 8th, 15th or 25th of April and October)
- annually (on 15th April each year)
Please complete the correct form below and return to us, and we'll do the rest. But please remember to continue making payments by another method until you receive a letter confirming that the Direct Debit has been set up.

Pay by internet banking
To pay your bill you will need to give your bank or building society the following details:
If your business is in Adur:
- Account name: Adur District Council
- Bank: Lloyds
- Account number: 11766960
- Sort code: 30-80-12
Please ensure you quote your eight digit Adur Business Rates account number shown on your bill.
If your business is in Worthing:
- Account name: Worthing Borough Council
- Bank: Lloyds
- Account number: 11723668
- Sort code: 30-80-12
Please ensure you quote your nine digit Worthing Business Rates account number shown on your bill.
Pay by standing order
Please complete the correct form below and return to your bank. Please make sure you include your Business Rates account number.
Pay by PayPoint or at a Post Office
You can pay your Business Rates at any Post Office or PayPoint outlet. You will need to take your bill with you as it has a barcode linked to your account. Please be sure to retain the receipt for proof of payment.
